US Soybeans are going through a rough patch right now. After a sharp fall, prices are barely holding around the $1,244.5 mark. Both buyers and sellers are glued to their screens, waiting to see if the $1,235 support level holds or snaps.

If prices drop below $1,235, we could see another quick slide lower. On the other hand, the market looks completely exhausted after this drop, which often hints at a short bounce first.

Sellers Are Getting Tired

Soybeans are currently trading below all key trend lines, including the 20, 50, and 200 moving averages. That tells us sellers have been in full control. But indicators like the MACD and Money Flow Index show that the market is heavily oversold.

We also saw an indecisive doji candle form near $1,243.75. Simply put, sellers are running low on energy just as everyone expects them to push prices even further down.

The Traps and Breakout Levels

Traders should stay alert around these zones:

  • Support at $1,235: A solid floor. A clean break below this opens the door to another wave of dumping.
  • Resistance at $1,255: Any small rebound will run into supply here first.
  • The Chop Zone: Trading between $1,240 and $1,250 is risky because prices can flip back and forth without clear direction.

What This Means For Soybean Traders

  • Do not rush to buy: Just because something is cheap and oversold does not mean it will shoot back up immediately. Wait for signs that buyers are actually stepping in.
  • Avoid chasing breakdowns late: If you want to sell, do not jump in when prices are already stretched thin at the bottom.
  • Patience pays off: Let the market test the $1,235 floor first before placing your next big bet.
